December 16, 2025.-

The Andalusian Renewable Energy Association (CLANER) has officially received, from the Regional Government of Andalusia (Junta de Andalucía), the accreditation and registration as an Agent of the Andalusian Knowledge System with an “Excellent” rating, after achieving an outstanding score within the innovation clusters category.

The accreditation was granted by the Directorate-General for Research Planning, following the evaluation of CLANER by the Evaluation and Accreditation Area of the Agency for Scientific Quality.

CLANER’s incorporation into the Andalusian Knowledge System will enable the association to strengthen its capacity to access funding and grants for R&D&I projects, as well as to intensify collaboration with other entities such as research centres and universities.

At the same time, it will make it possible to enhance knowledge transfer to the business sector, strengthen research and technological innovation, promote the attraction of talent and qualified employment, and improve the competitiveness and international projection of the entities linked to the association.

CLANER’s President, Alfonso Vargas, welcomed the achievement of this accreditation and highlighted that it “represents recognition of the work carried out over many years by all the entities that make up the association and reinforces CLANER’s role as a driving force of the energy transition in Andalusia.”

Alfonso Vargas also подчеркнул that being part of the Andalusian Knowledge System “will allow us to access new funding opportunities, strengthen strategic alliances and accelerate the implementation of innovative projects that generate employment, competitiveness and added value for the Andalusian renewable energy sector.”
