01 Apr The I3FLOAT project has published its first newsletter, detailing the project’s progress
1st April 2026 –
The first newsletter outlines the main progress made by the project in its initial phase, including the definition of its strategic objectives, the framework for collaboration between the participating regions, and the first activities carried out within the consortium. Among these, the launch of the process to develop the Floating Wind Innovation Roadmap stands out as a key tool for identifying technological priorities, industrial challenges and investment opportunities in the sector.
The I3FLOAT project, in which CLANER is participating alongside 23 other European partners, aims to accelerate the market uptake of innovative solutions in floating offshore wind, strengthening cooperation between regions at different stages of development and encouraging the active participation of SMEs.
The newsletter also highlights the first interregional initiatives undertaken, such as the organisation of workshops across various European regions, which have enabled input to be gathered from over 300 experts in the industrial, technological and scientific fields.
Over the coming months, the project will continue to make progress in implementing innovation investments in pilot platforms, launching calls for proposals aimed at SMEs, and developing advisory services to boost the sector’s competitiveness.
The newsletter is now available to view and download on the project website, where you can also subscribe https://claner.es/i3float/i3float-newsletter/ to receive future editions and stay informed about news and opportunities related to I3FLOAT.
