CLANER announces the 1st Horizonte Sostenible 2025 Awards

In recognition of the protagonists of the energy transition in Andalusia

13 March 2025 – The Andalusian Renewable Energy Association (CLANER) has announced the Horizonte Sostenible 2025 Awards with the aim of recognising and highlighting the efforts of those leading the energy transition in Andalusia.

The awards, supported by Texla Renovables, are aimed at companies, institutions and professionals committed to innovation, sustainability and the development of renewable energies, as well as to a cleaner and more efficient energy model in the region.

In this first edition, CLANER plans to award three prizes and a distinction. The ‘Luz de Andalucía’ Award will recognise innovative projects that represent significant technological advances in the generation, storage or distribution of clean energy.

The ‘Energy for All’ Award will be given to projects that have contributed to significantly improving access to energy, promoting education in sustainability and encouraging community participation.

The ‘Verde Andaluz’ Award will be presented to companies that have demonstrated a special commitment to environmental sustainability, the circular economy and the conservation of ecosystems.

Finally, the CLANER ‘Impulso Energético’ Special Distinction will be awarded to those individuals or legal entities that have played a key role in the promotion of renewable energies in Andalusia and that stand out for their leadership in the transition towards a more sustainable energy model.

Companies, entities and institutions in Andalusia or developing projects in Andalusia may participate in this call, individually or in groups. Each applicant may present a proposal that has already been carried out or is being carried out and that has not previously won any other award.

Nominations must be submitted between 15 March and 5 May 2025 via an online form, where participants must include a detailed report of the project together with complementary visual material.

The decision of the jury, made up of members of the CLANER Board of Directors, representatives of the Andalusian public administration and experts from the academic, business and environmental fields, will be announced in mid-May and the awards ceremony will take place in June, coinciding with CLANER’s annual convention.

With this initiative, the Andalusian Renewable Energy Association reaffirms its commitment to the energy transition and the promotion of a more sustainable model, recognising the efforts of those working for a greener future in the region.
