June 11, 2025.-
The Andalusian Renewable Energy Association (CLANER) will bring together companies, institutions, and key players in the Andalusian clean energy sector at the award ceremony of the Premios Horizonte Sostenible 2025, to be held at the Palacio del Marqués de la Motilla in Seville, next Tuesday the 17th, at 7:30 p.m.
The event will be attended by the president of the jury, the Minister of Sustainability and Environment of the Andalusian Regional Government, Catalina García; the president of CLANER, Alfonso Vargas; as well as the other members of the jury.
The awards, organized by CLANER with the support of Texla Renovables, Iberdrola, Magtel, and Ignis, recognize and highlight the efforts of companies, institutions, and professionals who are leading the transition toward a cleaner and more efficient energy model in Andalusia.
In the category “Luz de Andalucía”, the award will be granted to the Seville-based engineering company Rpow for the project “Planta piloto H2 24/7”, which consists of the integration of a renewable energy production plant, a thermal energy storage system, and a high-temperature electrolyzer for the production of hydrogen at a competitive cost.
The “Energía para todos” award will be presented to the company Endesa for the project “Queso Solar” which, through dialogue with municipalities and local residents, implements grazing in solar plants and ecological corridors that promote biodiversity.
Within this category, there will be a special mention for the project “Descubre la energía”, by the Fundación Descubre; a platform created with the aim of raising awareness about energy and the challenges of sustainable consumption.
The award in the category “Verde Andaluz” will be shared by the projects “Restauración de Hábitats en la Campiña de Cádiz”, presented by the company BRUC ENERGY, and “Alya y Alamak: impulsando el cambio hacia un futuro más verde desde Cádiz”, by the company BNZ. Both projects focus their efforts on preserving traditional land uses and habitats in the area, implementing measures aimed at strengthening local biodiversity.
The special CLANER distinction “Impulso Energético”, unanimously agreed by the Association’s Board of Directors, will be awarded to the mayor of Carmona (Seville) and senator, Juan Ávila, in recognition of his firm and public support for the development of renewable energies and the energy transition, for which his municipality is a model in Andalusia.
Prior to the awards gala, CLANER will hold its annual Assembly, which will serve to review the previous year, analyze the regulatory and technical challenges facing the sector, and present the association’s strategic lines of action to continue strengthening the role of renewable energies as a pillar of Andalusia’s electricity system, as explained by its president, Alfonso Vargas.
