22 Feb CLANER launches new information section on its website

• Sponsored by Texla, with interviews with key players in the renewable energy sector.

The Andalusian Renewable Energy Association (CLANER) will inaugurate a new informative section in its web page, which will include interviews to the main agents of the Andalusian renewable energy sector, with the aim of contributing to transfer the most current and specialized information of the Andalusian clean energy sector, as well as highlighting the contributions of companies and institutions in favor of a more sustainable and ecological future.

This new service, which will be sponsored by the company Texla Renovables, will be entitled ‘Gente con Energía’ and will have a monthly frequency. The interviews will focus on areas such as innovation and leadership, impact and outreach, diversity of perspectives, achievements and recognitions, and commitment to sustainability.

The president of CLANER, Alfonso Vargas, said that “for the Association it is essential to disseminate and give visibility to those who are the main players in the energy transition in our community, but also to raise awareness of the importance of the energy sector in the future development of our community and the country”.

For his part, the CEO of Texla, Miguel Montero, explained that “through our collaboration with CLANER, we seek to support and highlight the initiatives and technologies that are driving the change towards a greener future in Andalusia”.

CLANER and Texla Renovables have coincided in highlighting the importance and value of sharing the experiences and visions of the protagonists of this change towards a more efficient and sustainable energy transition.

The Andalusian Renewable Energy Association (CLANER), with more than 20 years of experience, is a group of companies, official bodies, technology and research centres, universities and public foundations, among other agents.

Its aims include the representation and defence of the Andalusian renewable energy and energy efficiency sector, as well as the promotion and encouragement of research, technological development and innovation of products, processes and services associated with this field through collaboration and cooperation between the members of the cluster in order to strengthen the competitiveness of Andalusian companies in the clean energy sector.

The members of the association, which currently has more than 140 member companies and represents more than 90 percent of the Andalusian renewable energy sector, include Andalucía Tech, the Centre for Energy, Environmental and Technological Research (CIEMAT), part of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, the University of Jaén, the Pablo Olavide University in Seville, the Descubre Foundation, municipal and provincial energy agencies, as well as the main renewable energy companies in Spain and the electricity company Endesa Distribución.
