CLANER and Cuatrecasas to hold a conference on green hydrogen, hybridisation and energy storage

The Andalusian Renewable Energy Association (CLANER) and the law firm Cuatrecasas will hold a conference entitled ‘Trends in the Energy Sector: green hydrogen, hybridisation and storage’ on Wednesday 4 at Club Cámara Antares in Seville (Torre Sevilla. Floor 18) from 9.00 am.

The event, which will be held in person, will bring together experts from the energy sector and the legal field to address the challenges and opportunities represented by green hydrogen, hybridisation solutions between technologies and energy storage as a key mechanism for managing the electricity system.

The aim of the conference is to analyse the technical and regulatory challenges to facilitate decision-making in the renewable sector, thereby contributing to a more sustainable and efficient system.

The activity will begin with a welcome breakfast followed by the opening address by the president of CLANER, Alfonso Vargas, and the managing partner of the Cuatrecasas office in Seville, José Moya.

Afterwards, the secretary general of CLANER, Gemma García-Pelayo, will give a presentation on the practical problems involved in the processing of green hydrogen installations in Andalusia.

The event will conclude with a debate and closing session at around 11 a.m., where attendees will be able to exchange views and ask questions.

Attendance at the event is free of charge, but prior registration is required via the link on the Cuatrecasas website.

On the other hand, CLANER informs that, from January 2025, it will start a programme of quarterly conferences entitled ‘Dialogues with the Administration’, aimed at strengthening collaboration and mutual understanding between the renewable energy sector and public bodies.

The sessions will provide a face-to-face meeting space for government representatives, industry professionals and other key stakeholders to exchange ideas, discuss approaches and seek solutions to current and future renewable energy challenges.
