30 Jan CLANER successfully holds the first of the ‘Dialogues with the Administration’ conferences
30 January 2025 – This morning, the Andalusian Renewable Energy Association (CLANER) held the first of the ‘Dialogues with the Administration’ conferences at the Endesa Auditorium in Seville, with notable success in terms of participation.
The event, which brought together numerous representatives from the renewable energy sector and public bodies, achieved its objective of fostering collaboration and debate on the challenges and opportunities facing the sector. The activity will be continued on a regular basis throughout the year.
The opening ceremony was attended by Endesa’s Director for Andalusia, Extremadura, Ceuta and Melilla, Rafael Sánchez, and the President of CLANER, Alfonso Vargas. In their speeches, both stressed the importance of dialogue between institutions and companies to promote a more competitive and sustainable energy model.
The conference consisted of a round table discussion, moderated by the secretary general of CLANER, Gemma García-Pelayo, with the participation of the director general of Environmental Sustainability and Circular Economy of the Andalusian Regional Government, Carmen Jiménez, and the director general of Historical Heritage, Mónica Ortiz Sánchez. During the debate, the speakers addressed key issues such as the regulatory challenges of the sector, administrative procedures and environmental sustainability.
At the end of the day, Alfonso Vargas underlined some of the conclusions of the meeting: ‘This first edition of ‘Dialogues with the Administration’ has shown us that collaboration between the renewable energy sector and public institutions is very necessary to face the challenges of the energy transition,’ he said.
For their part, the attendees particularly appreciated the possibility of openly discussing the regulatory challenges and opportunities that Andalusia offers for the development of a sustainable and competitive energy model.
After a question and answer session, the attendees were able to interact directly with the representatives of the Administration and experts from the sector in a networking session.
With this conference, which will be followed by several more editions in 2025, CLANER reaffirms its commitment to promote understanding and cooperation between the renewable energy sector and public administrations.
