26 May CLANER to bring together the renewable energy sector in Granada from tomorrow for the Horizonte Sostenible Awards ceremony and its Sectoral Conferences

The Andalusian Renewable Energy Association (CLANER) will bring together the leading companies, institutions and stakeholders in Andalusia’s clean energy sector at the awards ceremony for the 2nd Horizonte Sostenible Awards, to be held at Carmen de los Chapiteles, in Granada, tomorrow, Wednesday 27 May, at 7:00 p.m.
The event will be attended, among other authorities, by the chair of the awards jury, the acting Regional Minister for Sustainability and Environment of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Catalina García; the Secretary-General for Energy of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Manuel Larrasa; the Secretary-General for Environment and Climate Change of the Regional Government of Andalusia, María López Sanchis; and the president of CLANER, Alfonso Vargas, as well as the other members of the jury, made up of representatives from institutions, organisations and companies in the sector.
The awards, organised by the association with the support of Texla Renovables, Iberdrola, Cuerva, Magtel, Ignis and Altano Energy, recognise and give visibility to the efforts of companies, institutions and professionals leading the transition towards a cleaner and more efficient energy model in Andalusia.
Sectoral Conferences
On Thursday 28, at Hotel Abades Nevada Palace, the CLANER Sectoral Conferences will take place. The opening session, scheduled for 11:00 a.m., will be led by the president of the association, Alfonso Vargas, accompanied by the Secretary-General for Energy of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Manuel Larrasa.
After the opening session, the first panel discussion will begin, featuring contributions from representatives of organisations and companies recognised at the Horizonte Sostenible Awards 2026, including the CEO of Ariema, Rafael Luque; the head of the Don Bosco Solar project at Fundación Energía sin Fronteras, Pedro Méndez; and the Southern Region Environmental Manager at Ignis, Bruno Suárez.
The second panel, dedicated to regulation in the renewable energy sector, will then begin, with contributions from the Secretary-General for Energy of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Manuel Larrasa, and the Director-General for Environmental Sustainability and Circular Economy of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Carmen Jiménez, who will address the latest regulatory developments. The session will be moderated by the Secretary-General of CLANER, Gemma García-Pelayo.
The final session, focused on clean energy storage, will begin at 1:15 p.m. with the participation of the CEO of Coagener, Pablo Gómez, and the Director of Technology and Innovation at CEN Solutions, José López. The Business Development Director of Texla Renovables, Roland Bettscheider, will act as moderator.
The conferences will conclude at 2:00 p.m. with the official closing address by the president of CLANER, Alfonso Vargas. Attendance at the conferences will be free until full capacity is reached, with prior registration through the official event website via the link https://betweencongresos.com/claner/. Prior to this event, CLANER will hold its Annual General Assembly in an internal session.

The Andalusian Renewable Energy Association (CLANER), with more than 20 years of experience, is a group of companies, official bodies, technology and research centers, universities, and public foundations, among other agents.
